Standard First Aid & CPR

Our comprehensive two-day CPR and First Aid Course provides essential first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills. This course is ideal for individuals who require training due to work regulations or those who want to be prepared to respond to emergencies at home. It meets the legislative requirements set by provincial and territorial worker safety and insurance boards and follows the latest CPR and first aid guidelines.

 

  • Duration: 13–14 hours of teaching time.
  • Certification: 3-year certification in Standard First Aid Training and CPR/AED Level A or C.
  • Re-certification: 7-7.5 hours, including CPR Level A or C and AED, following local regulations.
  • Blended Learning Option: 8 hours of online learning and 7 hours of in-class instruction.
  • Instructor: Certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor.

Emergency First Aid & CPR

Our one-day CPR & First Aid Training in Ontario is designed for individuals who need lifesaving first aid and CPR skills for their workplace or home environment. This course aligns with workplace safety requirements across provinces and territories.

  • Duration:
  • CPR A: 6.5 hours in-class or 3.5 hours in-class + 4 hours online.
  • CPR C: 7.5 or 4.5 hours in-class + 4 hours online.
  • Certification: 3-year Emergency First Aid and CPR/AED Level A or C certification.
  • Re-certification:
    • CPR A: 4 hours in-class or 3 hours in-class + 4 hours online.
    • CPR C: 5 hours in-class or 4 hours in-class + 4 hours online.

Recertification availability may vary by jurisdiction.

  • Instructor: Certified First Aid Instructor.

CPR/AED Training

This course offers essential CPR skills to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking incidents for adults, children, and infants. This course meets all workplace safety regulations and includes training in using automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

  • Duration:
    • Level A: 4 hours
    • Level C: 5 hours
  • Blended CPR A: 3 hours online learning + 2 hours in-class.
  • Blended CPR C: 3 hours online learning + 3 hours in-class.
  • Instructor: Red Cross CPR Instructor or First Aid Instructor.
  • Certification: 3-year certification in CPR Level A or C.
  • Re-certification:
    • Level A: Not available.
    • Level C: 3.5 hours in-class.

Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR

This one-day CPR & First Aid Training in Ontario is tailored for caregivers, providing essential injury prevention knowledge and lifesaving CPR training and first aid skills specific to children and babies. It meets provincial and territorial safety regulations for early childhood educators and daycare workers.

  • Duration: Minimum 8 hours in-class.
  • Completion Requirements:
    • Successfully demonstrate skills and critical steps.
    • Achieve a minimum score of 75% on the written evaluation.
    • Attend and participate in 100% of the course.
  • Certification: 3-year certification in Emergency Child Care First Aid.
  • Re-certification: 6 hours in-class (availability depends on jurisdiction).
  • Instructor: Certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor.
