Emergency First Aid & CPR

This Basic one-day course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and AED skills for the workplace or home.

Duration:  6.5–8 hours. Flexible scheduling options.

Certification:  3-year certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR Level A, C, or HCP and AED

Re-certification:  Where provincial/territorial legislation allows; 4–6 hours; includes CPR C

CPR/AED

The courses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. All include training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Courses offer training suitable for workplace or general interest. Includes the latest CPR guidelines.

Duration:  Level A: 4 hours, Level C: 5 hours, Level HCP: 6 hours

Certification:  3-year certification in CPR Level A, C, or HCP and AED

Re-certification:  All Levels:  4 hours

Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR

This Basic one-day course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills with a focus on childhood injuries and illnesses. Course is designed for those in the early childhood education industry as well as for parents/caregivers. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED.

Duration:  8 hours with  Flexible scheduling options.

Completion Requirements : 100% attendance, skills demonstration, and 75% min. passing grade on written exam

Certification:  3-year certification in Emergency Child Care First Aid, CPR Level B, and AED

Re-certification: 6 hours
